Doc Gator Records is proud to present the second album by Heinsberg-based modern metal hopefuls GHOSTHER. After their sensational debut album Through Fire (2019), which we already had in vinyl edition, we are all the more pleased to be able to offer Immersion in various versions exclusively on CD and vinyl.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, Jenny and her band members have come together even more closely and used this time to develop musically. Immersion is the result of this intensive collaboration and reflects the band's further development - even more groove, even more rich riffs, catchier choruses and an even more dynamic approach. The 13 brand new songs, written at the beginning of the pandemic, set new standards in female-fronted alternative metal and metalcore - fresh, powerful music that stands out from the crowd.

The album was recorded in the summer months of 2021 at Pitchback Studios, where bands like Electric Callboy and Any Given Day have also produced their albums. Immersion was produced by GHOSTHER together with David Beule (ex-Vitja), and the mix and mastering were done by Aljoscha Sieg. A special highlight of the album is the first single "Doomed", on which none other than Björn Strid (Soilwork, Terror 2000, Disarmonia Mundi) can be heard as a guest. There is also another guest appearance by Joey Tyler, singer of the up-and-coming New York band VRSTY, on "More Of The Same".

The album's impressive artwork is once again by Daniel Hofer of Archetype Design and reflects the dynamics and intensity of the album.
